The music is a mix of aggressive guitar riffs, hard hitting rhythms, and a clean, energetic and melodic yet raw vocal.Urban Primate is a modern and intense metal band with ability and eager to implement a variety of elements from hard rock, 90'ies grunge rock and heavy metal to deliver a solid and holistic metal experience. Urban Primate delivers a perfect blend of heavy riffs and melodic-atmospheric parts with impressive vocal. All in all a presentation that by far makes this band apparent in the constellation of Danish rock-bands.The band consists of four members all coming from the suburbs of Copenhagen and all with an intense and uncompromising dedication to rock music and hard metal with a memorable hook mixed together to a modern and aggressive musical experience.Urban Primate always delivers a great and powerful performance on stage and leaves behind a sensation of both classic hard rock and modern, trashy metal.Urban Primate has proven to be a solid force on the Danish rock scene, especially after the release of their self-titled debut album in September 2010.the evolution of the band has already been an amazing and thrilling ride and in the future the band has been predicted only to grow stronger. From being part grunge part rock and part metal, the band has now found its path towards the harder elements of progressiv metal. yet Still true to the melodic elements in the music.
